There's a new Kinder Bueno in town, and this one is tropical. Yes, it's the classic Kinder hazelnut filled treat, but with an added sprinkle of coconut goodness. Now, I used to hate coconut, but I've grown pretty fond of it in recent years, so I was pretty excited to see how this turned out. This is basically the same make up as a Kinder Bueno, the creamy hazelnut filling, the wafer around it, and the white chocolate on top, but now there's a sprinkling of coconut for good measure.
This is great, even better than I thought it would be. The white chocolate and coconut go together incredibly well, creating an awesome flavor atop that lovely, crumbly wafer. The insides are as good as always, smooth and nutty, and they also work well in conjunction with the coconut to deliver just a great tasting bar. I wouldn't count the Kinder Bueno among my favorite chocolate bars, but the addition of the coconut really kicks it up a notch in my book. Well worth a try.
