Current Traffic Patterns and Construction Updates
Check traffic for your routes in real time to help your drivers avoid congestion and get to their destinations quicker. In Live Fleet, located at the top right-hand side of your map screen is the Traffic button. This button will provide you with two time-saving tools:
- A traffic update color coding that will overlay on top of your roads. The color-coding will indicate the current flow of traffic.
- Four different icons placed in areas with road work and obstructions. If you click these icons, a description will display, along with the expected end date. The icons indicate long-term projects, as well as daily occurrences.
You can use this GPS Tracking feature to plan a route around congested areas, give time estimates faster, and confirm delays. Not to mention, with today’s fuel prices, the less time your drivers spend sitting in traffic, the more fuel you save! Be on the lookout for the next time-saving feature within Live Fleet.
