Okay this might sound a little odd coming from someone who writes about beauty but I'm at a point in my life where I wear the least amount of makeup ever. I don't hate makeup or have anything against it. I'm just not particularly all that interested in buying tons of it or concerned about wearing it. Actually putting it on feels like a chore to me at times and when I do wear it, I can't wait to wash my face. I say this as someone who spends a fair amount on their skincare on a daily basis. I regularly use a ZIIP Beauty device, a Refa Carat, sheet masks and I've even taken to day masking. When it comes to skincare and makeup, I personally place a higher value on skincare. Sure one can use makeup create the illusion of good skin but actually having good skin is really winning.
