The photo is of the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party convening on November 8, 2012, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Six FOTM writers voted, each for his/her #1 and #2 captions. Each #1 vote is worth 3 points; a #2 vote is worth 2 points.

And the winner, with two #1 votes, for a total of 6 points, is…..

Ranger Luna!!!!

Here’s Ranger’s winning caption:

“First order of business…how to deal with the U.S. We own them now!”

In second place are Fabian Nightmare and MackQuigley, who each received one #1 vote and one #2 vote, for a total of 5 points each. Here are their respective captions:

“The 2012 Democratic National Convention is hereby called to order………..”

“Comrades, Mr. Obama sends his thanks for airmailing your absentee ballots on time.”

In third place is MD Hobbit, whose caption received two #2 votes, for a total of 4 points:

“2013: Chairman OweBowMao addresses his comrades in the People’s Republik of Amerika, formerly known as the U.S.A.”

Vox Sanitas is in 4th place because he competed against himself, LOL. Each of his two captions received one #1 vote, for a total of 3 points each.

Bob 350 and Christy are both in 5th place, each receiving one #2 vote or 2 points each.

Congratulations, Ranger Luna! Here’s your one-of-a-kind hand-scribbled Award Certificate of Excellence, all ready for framing!
