In the world of Marvel Comics, Skurge is a ruthless warrior able to enter a mood during battle that makes him almost unstoppable. As the son of an Asgardian warrior and a frost giant, Skurge became a famous famed warrior himself, hence the name Executioner. After being seduced by Enchantress, he eventually assists her in every way possible as she tries to become the ruler of the nine realms over Odin. Skurge eventually goes on to redeem himself and actually becomes an ally during the galactic apocalypse. Cool huhn?Thor: Ragnarok’s Karl Urban Shows Off His Skurge HaircutWith Urban hinting that his character has a very interesting arc in Thor: Ragnarok, we’re starting to think that in the end, Skurge may turn out to be more of a friend than a foe in the film. Time will tell in that respect. What do you think?

Thor: Ragnarok is set to follow the adventures of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) as they travel across the nine realms to save Asgard from impending apocalypse. With elements of the popular Planet Hulk storyline confirmed, the film is shaping up to be a significantly different adventure with the two Avengers who did not appear in this year’s Captain America: Civil War.

Although Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) won’t be appearing in Thor: Ragnarok, Valkyrie (played by Tessa Thompson) is making her MCU debut in the film, while Thor’s Agardian allies Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Hiemdall (Idris Elba) are back. Trickster Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is one of the morally-ambiguous players in Thor: Ragnarok, while Urban’s Skurge serves Hela (Cate Blanchett), the ruler of the realm of the dead. There’s also The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), an eccentric game player, in the mix. Let us know what you think in the comments below
