This/That: Labor Day Weekend Edition!

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

The last weekend of summer has officially arrived! And we’re dreaming of all the gorgeous riding boots, chunky sweaters and plaid we’ll be wearing this fall, but it’s still not time to say goodbye to our favorite whites. We’re not exactly running off to play tennis, but we’d still like the opportunity to wear as much summer bright white as possible on this three day weekend. And nothing pairs more nicely with a  crisp white than lovely white diamonds. Whether you’re headed to town or country this labor day weekend, there’s simply no excuse for leaving your sparkliest carbon at home. With destinations as plentiful as can be, we’re not sure where most of our readers are headed: town or country? A sophisticated weekend in the big city could be the perfect way to cap off a short but sweet summer. This 1920′s style Philosophy dress is perfect for a chic Diner en Blanc: a drop waist silhouette is totally Great Gatsby- esque, while the details really make this dress shine. A keyhole back is perfectly juxtaposed with the neatly pleated skirt in the palest shade of blush, while a lighter than air crepe construction ensures you won’t have to chip ice at The Plaza to stay cool. If you’re headed somewhere with a slower pace, lake side or beach side (hey, even pool side), we still recommend keeping it chic beyond belief Liz Taylor style. While the late legend famously wore her Bvlgari diamonds in the pool, you’ll stand out on your own in Tiffany diamonds and that Zimmerman Celestial swimsuit. The necklace itself is perfectly suited to either vintage style. This Tiffany & Co. Legacy diamond necklace is bold, but delicate thanks to a smattering of diamond inlaid into geometric platinum. Each dangling strand features round brilliant diamonds g/h in color and VS in clarity to the tune of .59ctw. It’s perfect for every day and special occasions alike, leaving the only difficult decision to you: this or that?
