Think Pink Bath Ballistic - £2.50 from Lush
A long soak in the tub is one of my favorite ways to relax before bed time, but because of time, I don't do it often enough. Because of this, when I do, I like to go all out and a bath bomb is usually included in the mix somewhere! I was lucky enough to be given the Think Pink Lush bath bomb for Christmas, which I think I am right in saying is part of their permanent collection so will still be available to all of you.
Lush describe this bath bomb as 'A relaxing pink bath bomb with a sweet vanilla and tonka fragrance' which I would definitely agree with. One of the nicest thinks about it was that it wasn't too sweet, as I find some of the scents such as snow fairy can be little too much! Instead, this was just very pleasant and uplifting. If any of you are Lush fans, I think that this is very similar in scent to Rock Star and Creamy Candy. I also liked that it turned the bath a nice colour, unlike Dragon's Egg, which I used the week before and turned the bath a dirty yellow.
Despite having been waiting for a couple of weeks to be used, this bath bomb still exploded and fizzed with the usual power of a bath ballistic, which was a pleasant surprise as I had expected it to have gone flat by the time it was used. It's meant to feel like a big hug, and whilst I couldn't quite say that was true, it is on my list of favourites that I have tried. My biggest qualm with it is the rice paper confetti hearts that reveal themselves after the ballistic has dissolved. I'm not a massive fan of things floating in my bath but compared to the glitter ones (which are such a pain to remove) it's not really a big deal!
Have you tried this before? Do you have any recommendations for me?
