This summer, the White Sox are bringing Westeros to the Windy City. In line with the season seven premiere of the Emmy Award-winning HBO series Game of Thrones, the South Side baseball team is hosting a #SoxSocial Night on Wednesday, July 19 at Guaranteed Rate Field for Game of Thrones fans in Chicago.
Fans will probably still be reeling from what unfolds during the premiere on Sunday, July 16, so this is a great opportunity to talk it out, courtesy of the MLB. The special event ticket package includes a ticket to the game against the Dodgers that night at 7:10pm and a limited edition bobblehead of the Southpaw mascot sitting on the Iron Throne. If you feel like channeling your inner Daenarys, don’t be shy, because costumes are encouraged. Join in on the fun and come to the event dressed as your favorite character. There’ll be plenty of Game of Thrones activities taking place to keep you entertained throughout the night.
