So! every week I will be doing a post called "The Weekend Edit" and this is the first one! It's basically a diary of what I did over the weekend etc. It's a little bit random and gives you an insight into the mind of me... ENJOY!

It's my youngest sister's birthday! HURRAH! she's 25 years old today, makes me feel pretty damn old to be honest. I remember the days where she had short curly hair and wouldn't let go of the furniture. (That was just last year! Jokes!) - Tonight myself and my sisters are heading to the Pizzeria in Dumfries and then will head out for drinks to Deja Vu afterwards because one of the lovelies that works there is finishing tonight and we want to give her a wee send off. I ordered a dress YESTERDAY and it still isn't here. Fear is setting in!

The dress has arrived, it's white and lace and is a skater style - I got it from Littlewoods and it was £22 which I thought was pretty damn decent! (I will insert a picture above) I like it but it seems a little bit short and I'm starting to panic slightly because I just remembered I binned a whole load of tights and I need them for tonight because I fake tanned everywhere except my legs. Fail.

This reminds me, I need to shower again to remove some excess fake tan! I used the Fake Bake 60 minute Tan and it gives you a gorgeous glow but I'm such a weirdo when it comes to tanning - anything darker than the color of my bones is too dark, so I'm going to 'tone it down' a little bit later...

I'm currently waiting on my nails drying but seriously feeling the need to go and do something - have you ever noticed this happens when you've painted your nails? you either need the loo or feel the need to re-tie your hair? INSTANT SMUDGE!

Nails are bone dry, now the fear is setting in on what foundation to use. I have fake tanned my face and I really want to match the foundation perfectly to it. I decide on some Bourjois CC cream mixed with a little bit of Stila Foundation & some Maxfactor Concealer. My face looks REALLY shiny and seeing as it's like a billion degrees outside, I am definitely going to need to take my powder and brush with me tonight. Now I need a bigger bag. Shish Kebab!

I'm hungry. I'm ready, but I'm hungry. Also contemplating putting on some false eyelashes but I've lost the Dup eyelash glue and the eylure stuff I have won't cut it. Dilemma

Food glorious foooooood! I ordered chicken wings in barbecue sauce for starters and for main I ordered Penne Bosciola with extra garlic because I love to have smelly breath. LOLZ the black Sambuca and white wine is flowing and I'm feeling pretty darn good! I just hope the Birthday girl is loving it too

Tip: Don't wear white with barbecue sauce or you will use a napkin as a make shift bib.
Tip: Don't think you're funny and put a slice of Orange in your mouth and smile for a picture. The restaurant 'might' be busy and a group of people 'might' see you making a clown of yourself...
Tip: Don't laugh in water's face when he misunderstands your drink order and brings you a little shot of black sambuca with cream on top instead of a sambuca liqeur coffee with cream on top. It looked like a mini Guiness! Hilarious!
Tip: Don't walk the length of the town in high heels unless you like blisters. Fail.

We're in Deja Vu, I've just sang some Bryan Adams on the auld Karaoke and to be honest (apart from me) the people singing Karaoke tonight are shiz hot! Lee (our lovely barmaid) sang some Black Velvet and Gary (the DJ & majorly talented singer) sang some Summer of 69! Amazing! I will insert the vlog somewhere in the post to let you hear it all!

We're hoooomeee! Tomorrow we're getting up at 7am to go to Carlisle for the day - typically of me, I will nt sleep tonight because I never do when there's something happening the next day. ARGH! Makeup OFF, moisturiser ON. Sleep? hmm... we'll see!

In the car heading to the train station and I'm really tired - I am going to rely on adrenaline and some retail therapy to get me through this day.

We've just been to Debenhams and had some breakfast (I had vegetarian sausage an egg and a hash brown) it was LUSH! oooh Lush! If I can stomach the strong smell of going into Lush today, I WILL do it! I really want the mint julep lip scrub. Addictive.

Mooching around Debenhams and decide to do a teeny little bit of vlogging. A few funny looks and some really uninteresting footage later and I still feel like I will never get the hang of vlogging in public. Also just realised how hot it is outside and I forgot to bring my SPF with me, I applied it this morning (SPF 50) so I'm hoping that will do all day.

We've just been for lunch - I had a baguette with spicy chicken mayo. It was really nice but super expensive. Maybe I'm just not used to city prices in comparison to Dumfries prices. Anyhoo, we're contemplating going for a cocktail... this sounds like a plan.

We're in The Griffin drinking cocktails and life is pretty damn good right now! except for the fact I am too hot and starting to panic slightly - am I the only one who hates being too hot and as soon as I am too hot I start to think I'm going to faint? Every summer I have this problem. Such a wimp!

We're on the train heading home and I could sleep. Seriously tired! I did have plans of recording a video when I got home but I am just way too tired.

I'm home after seeing my Nana and offloading a whole load of food shopping (Mum & Dad went shopping!) and I have literally just sat down on the chair and my feet are aching! those blisters from last night are taking their toll haha! I am majorly tired but I think a teeny little nap will keep me going for the night ahead!

I had a teeny little nap and now I'm fully awake! Every Saturday night since we were kids, my mom & dad have prepared a buffet tea and listened to the Scottish Ceilidh on the radio while they prepare it. We always watch a movie together then just chat as a family and listen to music together. You might laugh at this but some of my favorite memories are of Saturday night's like these and my sisters & I have always been best friends because we spend so much time together. Love!

I'm not long out of bed and today is an absolute scorcher. I'm going outside to help with the garden for a few hours and then I'm going to shower and do some much needed blogging. Also heard about the awful fire at Asos! I will send Georgia (my PR contact & friend over at Asos) to check on her and everyone else.

Gardening done, shower done, important emails done! Now I'm blogging about something really important to me which I'm not all too sure if I will publish or not. (If I do, I will insert it here.) and it was quite uplifting to write. I was also really anxious about writing it because obviously I don't want to offend anyone else, and it is really personal to me and it's not something I've ever shared with my readers before. Really nervous about it actually so I will be considering the whole thing all night now.

We're watching some sort of films (I'm not a huge movie fan!) but all I can do is think about different things that are ongoing right now and for some reason, excitement always turns into anxiety for me so I've kinda spooked myself about a few things. Why is your mind your best friend and your worst enemy?
