The Unwilling Free Agent - Grilled Cheese

We were told yesterday that JG was going to decide from 4 separate offers. Word was that all 4 were for 2 years and that the Pirates were in an excellent position to sign Grilli. The only thing that might cause a shift in his allegiance would be if any of the teams would offer 3 years rather than 2. That was thought to be an immense longshot considering Grilli is already on the downward side of his 30's. Then word comes that he signed with the Pirates, only to be immediately denied by the Grilli Camp. New word came that he would definitely make his final decision by 10:00 hrs, just that nobody knew whether that was Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time. I like the guy, and hope that he would care enough about the Pirates to sign for 2 years, but get on with it already.
