Friendswood, Texas – The list of streets for repair has been finalized after voter approval. The City of Friendswood will continue with the reconstruction process after a percentage of sales tax revenue being allocated to street maintenance.

Almost five years ago, there were elections for allocation a portion of its sale tax revenue for fixing its streets which was confirmed once again. Three years ago, a detailed plan was made for a first time and the condition of every street noted.

In the first round of the allocated money, the streets with worst conditions were repaired. Since the decision was confirmed once again in November, another of batch of streets will be repaired in the upcoming months, Mayor Mike Foreman said.

“I would love to thank the voters for supporting us and coming out to make sure their votes were heard on the street repairs and sales tax,” Foreman said.

We look forward for even more successful projects like this one.
