Speaking with Yuki Chen Club Concierge who comes from Hunan province, told us how the older generation in Chengdu are active and well cared for, of course drinking tea in the many authentic tea houses, even going to the People’s Park to get together and start a musical band – who would have thought in this huge city there is a place for everyone, so true to The Ritz-Carlton experience, she suggested I should go and have a look at the People’s Park to see the many of the historic tea houses.
