The Republicans Will Say We Have No Right To Eat

Posted on the 31 December 2016 by Calvinthedog

Take a good look at these Republican monsters running the country. Rightwingers are like or even worse all over the world. They’re cancer everywhere. There is no such thing as a rightwinger or conservative who is not a malignancy of some sort. All of conservatism is poison. Not just some of it, not just here and there, not just mostly, but the whole ball of wax from kings and lords to Burke to Kirk to beyond is straight up malignancy. There can be no compromise with any conservatives. There’s no such thing anyway.

I can tell you right now what Republicans will say when 50% of the humans are out of work.

“There are plenty of jobs out there! You just need to find one! You’re just lazy! The safety net is not a hammock!”

The cancerous Thomas Friedman is already suggesting that when most of the jobs go, most of us can just whore ourselves out in all sorts of ways. Got a car? Start charging for rides. Got a room? Take in a boarder. Got a couch? Take in a couch surfer. Got anything useful? Rent it out for periods to whoever. What about yourself? Think of all the ways you can whore out your body. Get creative.

You first, Thomas. Oh that’s right, you make $1.5 million a year, so you don’t have to worry about this stuff. My bad.

We can already see traces of this nightmare with the mass exploitation of drivers via Uber. Air B’n’B seems to be a much better deal, but that’s causing problems too, including the worsening of an already terrible housing shortage in some places.

Obviously, people will need to survive with half the jobs gone, but Republicans will simply say that we have no right to eat. Come to think of it, they already say that. I guess eating food is not a basic human right on Earth. Silly me. I should have known.
