I write this blog post to remind the future wife that you are a jewel, created by the most-high God. You are a “good thing” right now.
Sometimes we forget who we are and the value of our existence. Curly hair, long tresses, full figured or petite… you are beautiful. And still your outer beauty, is only a glimpse of your priceless quality.
Before you agree to an arrangement where you are less than treasured, less than loved, remember this…
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. – Proverbs 18:22
Did you know that you are a “good thing”, a gift from God, and one to be loved as Christ loves the church?
You are precious, costly, rare, and super extraordinary.
Why?
No one’s personality is like yours. Whether you’re fiery and outgoing, or timid and mild, there is no one who thinks, responds, and interacts with the world like you do. Your words have the power to change lives for the better. People smile at the thought of you. No one else in the world can duplicate your authentic self…no matter how hard they try.
Your talents and abilities are uniquely you. There is no substitute for the dreams you dream, the way you laugh, or your exceptional capacity to love. Your brand of creativity is like none other. You were born to bring God glory. Remember who you are.
In spite of your imperfections, you are always growing and learning, desiring to enhance your God given purpose and vision. You look to Jesus for your help. And for you, God’s grace says yes.
You are no one’s door mat, trash can, or game to be played.
I say again; before you agree to an arrangement where you are less than treasured, less than loved, remember your present-day value.
