The Perfect Girl's Night In!
I recently wrote a blog post about Date night ideas for you and your partner, I had some great feedback that got me thinking about the perfect girls night in! As a mommy you tend to forget about yourself and having some girls time, but it's so important to keep your relationships with friends up, obviously things have to be planned a bit different now but none the less, we all need some adult time, getting all those cbeebies songs out of your head! A recent survey by Ladbrokes bingo showed that 70% of women prefer a girls night in, who'd a thought? Its nice to go out and let your hair down but being in the comfort of your own home with your girlies is more appealing to me anyway! I've pieced together a few ideas to make the perfect girls night in..Remember you don't have to make lots of effort, wear your pjs if you want to!!

Set a theme

Slumber party? Bring your favorite pj's, slippers, dressing gown and just completely relax, there's no age limit to that either! Get some face masks and cucumber slices and make it a pamper party! Why not go for a 50's, 60's style? Maybe dress up from the decade you were born into, get really involved!
Films
Whether you want some soppy movies like the notebook or some feel good films such as dirty dancing or grease (also perfect for singing along too), choose something you all fancy! Get the tissues ready and feel confident knowing you're not going to get judged by them hehe
Food
It's got to be a takeaway hasn't it? It's your night off, don't even touch foot in that kitchen!! Chinese, pizza, Indian? Go crazy too, buy a pizza each, starters, yummy chocolate desserts? Ice cream! Take full advantage of the fact you can eat without it getting cold and having to entertain your child instead, eat so much you feel fit to burst, it's ok I promise! :).
Truth or dare/I have never
These two are fun games to get you all giggling and finding out eachothers secrets, it's a great chance for everyone to properly reconnect and will ease up any tension you're going to find out things you never even knew about eachother!
Music/Karaoke
A good old sing a long! Get the radio on and have a dance, or if you have a karaoke machine then sing your little hearts out, don't feel embarrassed either, you're not meant to sound good! Ha! Don't forget to add all the mannerisms as you sing too, the more you get into it, the better!
