Eric Heister is not the type of guy you can take at face value; his rough and tough exterior shields the vulnerable sensitive man who is easily willing to go out of his way to help the down and weary find solid ground. Similarly, though it is not what one would expect out of snarling veneers and jagged skeletal remains, Eric's current creative passion fashions once upon a time desert creatures into exotic and delicate wearable art, subtly warning the wearer or viewer not to underestimate the potential of seemingly worthless underbelly of life (or society). And just like Eric's unique and whimsical designs have an air of authority, so does his slight and earnest demeanor. Eric's simple and honest truths, simply spoken, remind his friends and fans alike that to be humble is to be aligned with a spiritual force greater than found in a dead or frozen smile. Haunting and daring, Eric's art is pleasant in the here and now as well as providing a lingering curiousity about the potential for adventures in the beyond. Eric has been a commissioned artist for several years and is the Art Director for Greenglow Films, winner of the 2012 LA Movie Awards.
