On this the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, for your edification above is shown a reliquary containing a very small piece of the burial cloth, the Holy Shroud of Our Lord Jesus Christ (De Sindone), one of the most famous relics in history. The reliquary just arrived a few days ago. You can read more about the Holy Shroud here. The small piece of cloth shown above constitutes a second class relic and the reliquary was sealed by the Augustinians.
