Hello fellow writers, bloggers, readers and crafters. Today is my weekly day of reckoning although I don’t have quite as much info to give you today as I did last week.
This week’s submission was to Dunham Literary Inc. They take all genres of YA and require a short query letter sent to query at dunhamlit dot com. More info can be found on their website. Dunham lit is a pretty eclectic agency and take all kinds of manuscripts so I would definitely check them out regardless of your genre just in case. They have a four week response time to queries and a separate submission policy if they choose to read your manuscript. Again, check the site.
I’m quickly running out of YA agents in my writer’s market guide so probably by 10 I’ll be moving on to small presses. I’m looking forward to the change. Submitting to agencies is ridiculously intimidating. Not that a publisher would be much better…but I can dream.
