The Great Submission Challenge 3/100 Revisited

By Crossstitchyourheart @TMNienaber

Well, bloggers, it’s true.  When it comes to life things happen all at once.  First grad school started, then the job interviews, and now the literary agent.

Late last week I heard back from submission #3, the Browne and Miller Literary Agency.  They said they were very interested in my work and excited about my concept and wanted to enter an exclusive reading period to make the final decision about whether or not to take on my manuscript.

So while my manuscript is off to have its fate decided I get to take a little break from the weekly submissions and thanks to how busy the rest of my life is I don’t even have time to stew in my own anxiety.

I honestly never expected my book to be getting this much attention from a literary agency, I figured it would be better suited for small presses that handle their own submissions/catalogues so this is a pretty awesome surprise.  Even if Browne and Miller decide to pass after reading my manuscript the fact that I’ve managed to make it this far with a high powered lit-agency is amazing (not to mention a good confidence booster).

Anyone else taking part in the submission challenge? Or have any writing triumphs you’d like to share?
