The Going Away Skincare
I am sure some of you have noticed but I have been fairly quiet on twitter and my posts have been a little bit all over the place. Things in my life have been a bit up in the air recently and my blog hasn't been my main priority. I don't want to go into it at the moment but I just felt like I needed to write a little explanation as to why I have been quiet. I hope you understand and I am still here. Due to what's going on I have been staying at friends a lot and thought I would share with you what skin care I have been taking with me. I can do a make up one too if you like? First up is the Superfacialist Rose Creamy Cleanser. This is one of all time favorite cleansers that removes every bit of dirt and grime as well as leaving the skin soft and smooth. I use this for morning and evening cleansing whilst I am away just so I can take one cleanser with me. Once I have cleansed I then follow up with the Clarins Exfoliating Toner. This just gentle exfoliates the skin and prepares it for serums and moisturisers. I don't use this every day, so on the other days I use the La Roche Posay Serozinc (not pictured) just to add some moisture to my skin. After toning I leave my skin for about 30 seconds then apply Origins GinZing Eye Cream. This is my third pot/tube of this and it really brightens and hydrates the eye area.
After eye cream I apply serum, the one I have been loving is Hydraluron. This was a recent repurchase and I forgotten how much my skin loves it.This warm weather makes me an oily mess so I like to use a mattifying moisturiser. The Witch Mattifying Moisturiser SPF15* is a fantastic one and budget friendly. It is a light formula and still hydrates the skin as well as keeping it shine free.
Lastly I then use an SPF. I am currently using Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30*. This is a very light sun protection with UVA & B protection. Perfect for all skin types.
At night time I follow the same routine but instead of the witch cream & SPF I use an oil. The one I have been reaching for recently is the Nude Pro Genius Treatment Oil. I am still on the fence about this one, everyone seems to love it but I am yet to be wowed. It's nourishing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated but I can get that from less expensive products too.
Well that gives you a little incite of my skincare routine and my thoughts on the products. It does chop and change but I would say this is my basic routine. Do you use any of the products? I would love to know what you use for your skincare so if you have a post do link it below.
