In my horoscopes this week I went on about this up and coming full Moon being a fiery one and it is perfecting very close to Mars moving retrograde, the god of war and action. Now as you will know we are in a Mars retrograde phase right now and Mars retrograde is a Mars that is not overtly aggressive, it's more building up it's frustration level if you know what I mean. Energy need direction to express itself properly, and when the direction is inwards, then Mars who needs to go forwards can't function so well.
A full Moon sees an opposition between the Moon and the Sun and so a full Moon on Mars sees the red planet opposite the Sun and at it's closest point to the earth too. If you consider that a full Moon is the end of a cycle and a point when emotions are at their peak, then of all the times when Mars' frustrated energy is going to released, then this may be a moment when it happens in a flood of emotion. This is a red hot full Moon in a fire sign, Sagittarius and so we have an opposition in the signs of what we believe in (Sagittarius) and what we say or communicate (Gemini). Thus are likely to be furious, passionate arguments now over the messages that some are giving out against the belief of others. We are looking at conflicts of local interests (Gemini) versus international ones (Sagittarius). If you take into consideration that the full Moon and Mars also opposes Venus, the planet of relationships and values, then you can see where the potential fault lines lie.
As you can imagine this weekend coming is one of potential verbal conflict, however there is one way that you can use this energy and passion effectively and that's by being flexible. Both Sagittarius and Gemini are mutable signs and work well if you are prepared to shift your position just a bit to suit the needs of others, to those you love or by adjusting your values to suit their needs. If you do that and are able to still stay on message or within the boundaries of the task that you are doing then you can achieve a lot during this full Moon. If not and you are too fixed in your ways, then you are bound to find yourself a whole load of trouble and you will have to face the wrath of this angry frustrated retrograde Mars.
