Next up from our previous Kenny Florian article is the fight Florian had against BJ Penn. If you read the previous article, you should know that this was Florian's second attempt for the lightweight championship belt. The BJ Penn vs Kenny Florian fight video can be found below:
As you can see in the video, Florian made multiple attempts to try and take Penn down in order to make full use of his BJJ skills, but was never successful. Florian tasted multiple times during the fight why Penn is regarded as having the best boxing skills in MMA. The irony is that at the end Penn (who is also very good at BJJ) used the same tactic on him, forcing him to tap out.
For those of you who don't know, Penn has never been submitted or knocked down. Talk about tough!
