Not really. I got text messages about it. I saw lots of people talking about it. They were all excited and happy. The guys were all coming in their shorts and the women were all coming in their panties. I tried to criticize this sickening boondoggle and I got shouted down by a chorus of patriotards.
That’s what kind of people we are. We see a Goddamned bomb explosion and the whole nation has a collective orgasm.

Are you kidding? Once the US is massively at war in the Mideast or North Korea, no Americans would care? Are we really that far gone? Wow, this must truly be the last days of the empire. First there’s the decline, then there’s the fall. God knows what stage this is.
We are getting like the Romans who threw Christians into arenas to fight lions to the death and cheered when the man got killed. At some point, you have a nation of decadent, depraved, jaded, orgiastic, wasteful, spendthrift, narcissistic, sadistic, occultist, death-worshiping sick fucks, and at that point, the nation or empire or whatever has got to go.
