The Cheese & Spice Market At The Shoppes At East Wind

By Robinavidor @robinavidor

The Cheese And Spice Market

This weekend I attended the grand opening of The Shoppes At East Wind on the North Shore of Eastern Long Island. I was very excited to see my friend’s new shop The Cheese and Spice Market! The shop is as beautiful as it is tasty! It has a warm feeling as soon as you enter and it was packed with customers too! It was great to see the family working their dream together. They have a huge variety of artisianal cheeses, a wall of spices that you can feel free to  experience and same goes for a ton of delicious looking teas! We bought a few cheeses that I can’t wait to try and I look forward to a trip back there to spend more time and explore all of the assorted items. I see a great big successful future for this unique and delicious shop! I was so happy to see Patty’s dream come to life, very happy for her!

“I was inspired by some great chefs, and encouraged by family, friends and former customers in the restaurants where I worked for over 25 years, to start my own business.  My love of cheese and for cooking with the very best and freshest of products and spices, together with my passion for creating exquisite displays of food, led me to my decision to open a Cheese & Spice Market.

I am eager to share my knowledge and excitement about the diverse line of imported, domestic and local cheeses, loose savory herbs and spices, and other gourmet products that the market carries.  We will fill the everyday needs of customers, shopping for themselves or others, during holidays or any time of the year.  Our cheese plates, platters and gift baskets are perfect for individuals, private parties and corporate events.  Visitors exploring the North Fork wine region and farms can find cheese, crackers, baguettes and other goodies to fill their own picnic baskets as they start their journey.

I am determined to please customers by sharing my passion, providing personal attention, and offering the best quality products and service.  We want our customers to have fun, try different cheeses and products that they may not be familiar with, and to learn how spice can enhance the flavors of food.”  by Patty Kaczmarczyk
