I am always on a lookout for a good hair product. Having treated my hair badly all these years with colours, hair sprays, rebounding, flat iron or hot curlers...ahh...they needed something calming, chemical free & rejuvenating. In comes The Body Shops's Rainforest Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner for dry hair.This product actually cleanses your scalp and leaves your hair light and chemical free. As there are no actual softening chemicals like dicothemine (silicone used mostly in conditioners) there is zero product buildup (Hello Dove & Pantene shampoos).
Though I have to mention that this range has not got many fans. Makeup Alley rates it at 3.2/5 which is pretty low. So you might have to research a bit before buying it.Another off point is that its pretty expensive here in India. The product costs a mere £6.5 (approx INR 660) for a 400 ml bottle in United Kingdom, whereas we here pay a bit more than that for half the bottle.The conditioner is not immensely smoothing, but does its job fairly well in conjunction with the shampoo. It does not have that slidy feel to it (no silicone).
For me, this product has worked pretty well. I wouldn't suggest it for daily use. Once in two days is a good frequency.
