The Body Shop Haul and Makeover

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
This was a day of firsts for me; my first time being in a mall with a Sephora and not going in, plus my first time going to The Body Shop. I originally went in just to look at a few of the products from their vitamin C collection. The I noticed that they were having a sale (buy one get one, buy three get two, two lip products for $10) then one of ladies asked if I wanted to try a few of the products and get a makeover with it. So I said sure, why not? Needless to say, I left with more than I had planned and have a couple of things I want to go back and get. I was pretty impressed with the skincare and cosmetics she used. Unfortunately, the only place I can get decent lighting at night is in my bathroom, so excuse the appearance of my Nivea cream.  Here is what I left with:

2.) Vitamin C Skin Boost: also smells wonderful, is very smooth and brightens skin. My mom was with me and could tell a difference.
3.) Strawberry Born Lippy
4.) Satsuma Shimmer Born Lippy
5.) Baked to Last Blush in Petal
6.) Hi Shine Lip Treatment in Juicy Peach. Which it really smells just like grapefruit instead of peach. Either way, it is a nice everyday gloss.

Afterwards, she applied one of their foundations but I am not sure which one. I just know it looked great in pictures and from a distance, but up close it was a mess. It was the wrong shade and looked a little cakey. For my eyes, she used their baked shadow duo in quartz (the light color all over and a little bit of the darker color into the crease) and lined my eyes with their Carbon Eye Definer in brown. She finished the look with Baked to Last Blush in Petal, Baked to Last Bronzer in 01 and Hi Shine Lip Treatment in Juicy Peach. I loved the overall look and want to get the shadow and liner. And I will probably get some more of the Born Lippy balms at some point. I think this could very well be my new go to look.
