Property crime rate data from 2005 to 2014 shows a rather interesting story compared to what other publication sites are posting (i.e. top safest states in 2015/2016 etc.)
We’ve researched property crime data from 2005 to 2014 of all states and ranked them according to highest property crime rate per 100,000 inhabitants. This data does not include violent crimes, domestic crimes and etc.
We wanted to offer a different perspective thus a ranking of all states based on property crime rate for 10 years. To illustrate our research we’ve created this map in the hopes of offering an alternative answer to what’s the safest state to live in.
