If I had to pick styles from a certain era to wear on this day, it would be 70's inspired fashion. The styles from decades ago are reinvented in the modern context every year in the fashion industry. For Spring 2015, we saw a revival of the seventies. The romantic era where fashion was all about freedom - a freedom of expression. A lot of retro, folksy and hippie styles of dressing were emerging and it was all about the lace. (See what I did there!)
The 70's have made a comeback this year with crochet dresses, bell bottoms and suede fabrics being sent down the runway. I took a cue from this trend.
In today's outfit, I am wearing this flowy and sheer top from H&M with neck detailing and a crochet skirt I have worn in the past. I accessorized the outfit with a leopard print clutch and pink suede heels. You know, I am not much of a jewelry person so I wore black studs and a pair of bracelets from Ettika.
