Teaching Notes: On The Fruits Of A Faithful Man

By Mmcgee4

Teaching Notes are Bible studies we taught before GraceLife Ministries began publishing articles online in 1995. Some were presented as sermons, others as group studies.

Our hope is that these older studies will be a blessing to you in your life and ministry. Please use them in any way God leads you.

These teaching notes are from a study in the Book of Acts.

[These notes are from a study taught more than 40 years ago. The notes are in outline form.]

Acts 6:1-7

Philip –

  1. Honest Report
  2. Full of the Holy Ghost
  3. Full of Wisdom
  4. Faithful Servant

Mark 10:44 – Being first in the Kingdom

Acts 8:8-5-8, 26-40

Principle #1 – Philip was a faithful servant and a powerful leader (5-6)

Principle #2 – Philip was a faithful servant and brought great joy to the people (7-8)

Principle #3 – Philip was a faithful servant and heard the voice of the Lord (26)

Principle #4 – Philip was a faithful servant and obeyed God (27)

Principle #5 – Philip was a faithful servant and “preached unto him Jesus” (35)

Principle #6 – God was faithful and gave Philip fruit (37) and an expanded ministry (39-40)

Are we like Philip? Do we want to be like Philip?

[Invite people to pray]

[Thank you for reading these teaching notes from more than 40 years ago. My prayer is they will be a blessing to you and your ministry.]
