Taking A Look At: Rosehip PLUS

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Rosehip PLUS range of products – from their Rosehip Oils to their Day and Night Creams. Rosehip Oil has become a really popular product and ingredient in the last few years so I was excited to see how a full regime of Rosehip Oil products would affect my skin.

Here’s a little bit about the brand:

In early 2011 we decided to investigate how we could produce products of the highest quality that our customers could benefit from and the brand RosehipPLUS™ was created. RosehipPLUS™ is about all things natural and organic for the face and body.

It was important to us to only use the very best organic cold pressed oil and to find this our his journey took us to the other side of the world to the interior of the Andes Mountain range in Chile, South America, where some of the best organic Rosehips grow. After much research and design in September 2012 we were extremely proud to launch our first product in the Beauty market, RosehipPLUS™ Certified Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil.

Rosehip PLUS‘ Australian Certified Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil is available in two sizes, a 30ml and a 50ml dropper as well as an innovative Skin Boost Roll On packaging. The Rosehip Oil in the droppers are a lovely consistency. They aren’t as heavy as other rosehip oils I’ve tried in the past and with a slightly lighter scent (which I prefer), the oil works well to penetrate the skin to hydrate and protect, relieve any dry patches and give the skin a natural glow which you wake up with the next morning. The oil really is a versatile product and can be added into your regular face and body moisturisers for an extra boost of hydration.

The Rosehip Oil Skin Boost Roll On was a real standout as it was quick, easy and mess free to use. The roller ball releases just the right amount of product which can be gently patted into the skin or left on to soak in! It gave a lovely boost of hydration and a glow under the eyes and is the perfect solution when needing to apply to any scars or small dry patches that you may have on your body or face (if you prefer not to apply rosehip oil to your whole face). I also enjoyed using it to apply some rosehip oil around my cuticles to keep them looking and feeling nourished. I think this roll on is the perfect little invention!

Along with the 100% pure Rosehip Oil, Rosehip PLUS also have a Hydrating Day Cream and Nourishing Night Cream apart of their product line, both containing 95% Organic ingredients. The Day Cream contains Chamomile and Avocado Oil as well as a while host of other natural ingredients. The cream has a lovely consistency that’s neither too light or too heavy. The Night Cream includes ingredients such as Cocoa Seed Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil and comes in tube with a pump for easy and hygienic use. Again, this cream was also light on the skin which I liked as I apply rosehip oil as a part of my skincare routine at night. The combination of the Rosehip PLUS Rosehip Oil and Night Cream created a lovely mix which left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

After over a month of use, I can definitely say that the Rosehip PLUS has left my skin looking and feeling great! Even in the warmer weather, the products have hydrated my normal skin type without being too heavy or causing any oiliness throughout the day. My skin remains smooth and plump with an overall glow to it!

The Rosehip PLUS 30ml Rosehip Oil (19.95), 50ml Rosehip Oil (29.95), 15ml Skin Boost Roll On (14.95), Hydrating Day Cream (19.95) & Nourishing Night Cream (29.95) are available to be purchased from the Rosehip PLUS website, Chemist Warehouse and other stockists you can find here.
