Take Me Out to the Ball Game

I spent the weekend in bed with a nasty stomach flu. So on top of my excitement in feeling like a human being again, this week's weather is looking warm and sunny (no snow in sight!). It's the perfect forecast for spring baseball. Spring evenings at the ballpark are always a blast but dressing can be a bit of a challenge. While the sun is out, it's warm but as soon as the sun goes down there is a chill in the air. You want to root on the team with your choices but comfort is key.

An easy but interesting striped tee and some white jeans are a great base for this outfit. I added a black and white bomber (it also comes in plus sizes, both from asos.com). I also love this one in silver. A trusty pair of shades for that late afternoon sun and my favorite ball cap to show my team spirit. The trek to the seats and standing in line calls for a hands free, cross-body bag. I usually opt for minimal accessories and of course comfortable walking shoes.
