By Beautifulbuns

Yoohoo~! I’ve just gotten my hands on this super adorable tin can of eye and lip goodies! I absolutely love, love the trend of character x beauty product collaborations, such as Gudetama x Holika Holika, Alice in Wonderland x Beyond, Missha x Line Friends etc, and now, there’s this uber cute grumpy Snow White on Beauty People’s Limited edition product!

Me wearing Vivid Pink cos my skin tone doesn’t take well to orange tones. Face: It Cosmetics CC Cream (review to come soon)

First impressions:

Eye: Glides on smoothly without pulling on skin. Slightly sparkly and shimmery without any fallout, relatively oil-proof / rub-proof, and stays on for about 4 hours on average. Can double up as undereye highlighter (for that aegyo sal look), but because it has actual color pigments (instead of just being plain sparkly), you might want to go easy on the application unless you want to end up with pink-coloured or orange-coloured eyebags.

Lip: Also glides on smoothly without pulling on lips. Creamy. Matte finish, so make sure to exfoliate the lips and perhaps apply some lip balm/ vaseline prior to application. Leaves a rosy tint on the lips after wearing off. Lips do not feel dry/tight – in fact I think they feel slightly hydrated.

The Verdict: A pretty decent bunch of products that perform well – in terms of both eyes and lips. It also works out to be about $8-9 per pencil, which is pretty affordable. There’s also that adorable tin can that you can use for other purposes. The only downside is that these are not auto pencils, and the set does not come with a sharpener. Ah well. I guess I could always use my Nudestix sharpener.
