OPI’s summer collection has gotten me interested in yellow nail polish. Yellow is a color that my stash is lacking, so I used a discount on Beauty Bay to get me some fancy yellow nail polish.
I’ve loved all Deborah Lippmann nail polishes so far, so I thought I couldn’t make a mistake. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Yellow Brick Road in the bottle looks like a perfect yellow – neither too green, not too orange. However, it is a super sheer jelly nail polish. When I say super sheer, I mean it. I think it is even sheerer than OPI My Pointe Exactly. I browsed the swatches prior to purchasing it and I knew it was somewhat sheer, but I didn’t think I would need to use 6+ coats to make it opaque.
Other than the sheerness, the formula is perfect – neither too thin nor too thick and it went on evenly.
