Watching: The Mandalorian of course. Daisy Jones and the Six. MH370: The Plane that Disappeared. The Bad Batch season two. A rewatch of Shadow and Bone in anticipation of season two. The School for Good and Evil, which was adorable. Patiently waiting for Ted Lasso and Shadow and Bone to release this week.
Cooking: I have not been cooking that much simply because Jim was gone, and I have been battling a chest cold. Third winter has me feeling the need for comfort food, so I’m thinking of making homemade mac and cheese or soup. I also haven’t decided if this will be a Guinness stew year or a shepherd’s pie year for St. Patrick’s Day. Decisions, decisions.
Enjoying: This week’s snowfall was gorgeous. It was the heavy, wet snow that stuck to all the branches and painted everything in a layer of white. It is so pretty that it takes the sting out of a major snowfall midway through March.
Planning: I’m still working my way through spring cleaning the house. I finished most of the upstairs, but we need to tackle the rooms downstairs. Plus, Jim has his list of repairs he still needs to finish. The plan of working on one room a week is working well.
Feeling: Holly is almost done with her second term, and I am ready for her to come home. Granted, it will be at least another month before she is home, but it is close enough now that I can start getting excited about it.
