This Sunday was Market-Sunday! Now that everything is setting down we decided on a fun market day in Brussels. And.. we took our neighbor along. It was such nice weather, and we had such fun. We started out with a cup of Moroccan tea and pancakes at the South-market. Then we headed up to the Abattoir-market for some fruit and veggie shopping, and some fish. With the fruit we made two amazing juices with our steam juicer.
Apple-gooseberry juice
- 1.5 kg gooseberries
- 2.5 kg apples
Cut into pieces and put into the steam juicer. You will end up with little over three litres of juice.
Strawberry-kaki-apple juice
- 3 kg strawberries
- 2 kg kaki’s
- 1.5 kg apples
Cut into pieces and plunge them into the steam juicer. You will end up with little over 4 litres.
