With the weather having been great for almost a week now, it feels like the right time to say that summer has arrived (touchwood!) And along with this seasonal change comes a change in colours, more specifically, the ones adorning my nails. I have picked out my top 5 polishes that perfectly suit the current summer weather and would work for all occasions.Essie will always have a place in my heart for the beautiful color selection that they have on offer. Bikini so Teeny, is a bloggers favorite and I can definitely see why, it's cornflower blue shade with hints of subtle sparkle in the sunshine make it perfect for blue-skied summer days. Added to that the trademark wide brush and no streak formula and you have yourself a winning polish. Similarly, Essie's Mojito is a vibrant green that works well with all skin tones and is nice as a simple but intense bright color. Rimmel's new range of Lasting Perfection nail polishes have also been really impressing me. The formula is chip resistant and dries with a lovely shiny finish. My favorite colours, Sunshine (a vibrant Sunshine well done Maddy for stating the obvious yellow), Marshmallow Heaven (my favorite - a gorgeous lilac purple) and Peardrops (a metallic green) are all quite bright and typical spring/summer colours.
