There’s a Grease prequel in the works titled Summer Loving.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the prequel will dive into Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson’s summer fling. If you remember in the original movie Danny and Sandy recount to their friends a summer fling they had via the song “Summer Nights.”
The original starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, no word yet on who will play the characters in the prequel.
Paramount has tapped John August to pen the script and Temple Hill will produce along with Picturestart.
