It's no secret that I love makeup and beauty products... I'm a makeup artist, it's part of my job. But wearing and using a lot of products in the middle of summer can be tough, a lot of times it seems to just melt right off. So today I am talking about how to get my summer beauty look that will last all.day.long! You can find all of these products at your local Walgreens, can you say "convenient"?First, we must start with a clean, fresh pallet. I love beginning my day by cleansing with the Yes to Blueberries facial wipes! They're refreshing, filled with antioxidants, and smell amazing. Next, while my face is soaking in some moisturizer, I like to (any time of year, not just in the Summer) spray some sunscreen on the rest of my body. I love the long lasting and easy application of the Banana Boat Protect and Hydrate SPF 30. Then I begin my makeup application with the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation. This stuff is amazing and my current go-to, drug store foundation! After foundation, I apply some powder then bronzer. What is a Summer look without some bronzer, after all? I then add some blush and my face is complete!
I then apply my current favorite, drug store mascara- Scandaleyes Retro Glam from Rimmel. It goes on thick and layers easily, delivering big, bold lashes.
Lipstick is one of my very favorite steps in my makeup routine. When I am feeling somewhat drab, I grab a favorite color and I'm instantly feeling put together and radiant. My new favorite is this Revlon Color Burst Matte Lip Balm. It smells amazing and lasts all day!
I love nail polish, especially in the summer! Essie nail polishes come in an amazing variety of color, including some vibrant, fun colors for summer.
Last on my summer, must have list is this Fabulous Finish Hairspray from Mark Hill. First of all, the styling of the bottle is adorable. Second, it goes on so light that I don't feel like I'm wearing hairspray at all, which is just how I like it. But it keeps all of those baby hairs tamed and in place.
