Styles II Fitness Massage Body Stick Roller Review

Back before I was in my car accident, I would hear other runners talking about their IT band pain, but I really wasn't sure what part of the body that meant. As I continue to recover from the injuries I sustained in my car accident, I find parts of my body feeling aches and pains that I didn't even know existed, and I've even learned what IT band pain is for myself - unfortunately.

At one point, my thigh hurt so bad I could barely stand it and once we realized it was the IT band, we knew what needed to be done. For any of you unfamiliar with the IT band, it is the iliotibial band, which is a band of fibrous tissue that runs down the outside of the thigh. The band works with the quadriceps (thigh muscles) to provide stability to the outside of the knee joint during movement. The best way to make this band feel better is to do exercises specifically designated to stretch that band. Another way to help the IT band heal is to use a massage stick. I have a really nice massage stick at home, but it is about 2-1/2 feet long and not easy to tote around to and from work.
