Style: Sunshine Strolls

Style: Sunshine Strolls Goodness me have I been busy!  I know I've done lots but I just can't remember it all, or where to begin with telling you about my antics.
This weekend just gone my very fit partner did his iron distance triathlon; 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle and 13.1 mile run.... rather him than me!  Up with the birds at 4.45am on Sunday morning then over to Holme Pierrepont for his 6.38am start,  I was so pleased to finally find coffee at about 10am! He did such an amazing job and finished in just over 6 hours, which is pretty good going and far better than I could even dream to do! But as it took up quite a bit of the Sunday we spent the rest of the time strolling about in the sunshine and finally having a well needed drink...
Style: Sunshine Strolls I love walking, but usually I'll be on a mission so will power walk.  It isn't something I tell myself to do but according to friends I always do it - I guess I can't be bothered to mess about. When it comes to 'strolling' it doesn't tend to happen, but after my other halfs race this Sunday It was totally needed on numerous levels.
Style: Sunshine Strolls Style: Sunshine Strolls I decided I wanted to be casual but still look feminine, (standard for me) so this dress I've got from Superdry was ideal.  When I first saw Superdry wer
e doing dresses I wasn't sure what they would look like, but I feel in love with the rich red of this dress.  It doesn't have their logo slapped all over it and instead it is just stitched in the corner.  The prom style is perfect for creating/emphasising curves and with this particular dress it's elasticated so I can slip it on easily.  I'm a sucker for a cute summer dress and this ticks every box for summer days.
Style: Sunshine Strolls   What I'm Wearing Dress - Superdry 50s Colour Dress - £44.99 Shoes - Topshop Haiti Peep Toe Cut Out Shoes - £35.00 Cardigan - New Look Stone V Cardigan - £9.99 Bag - Topshop - eBay Earrings -Oasis - £8.99 Necklace - Vintage

I love the rich red of the dress but didn't want to stand out too much.  To keep my look toned down I have used basic browns and a stone coloured cardigan.  My nails are actually sky blue but I don't think this makes too much of a difference... to be honest I'm all about pastel nails right now. Style: Sunshine Strolls Style: Sunshine Strolls  I love sitting outdoors having a fruity drink on a sunny day... I am a Pimm's girl at heart but I do enjoy a Rekorderlig mango & raspberry!  Style: Sunshine Strolls What a busy but gorgeous day we had,  although I must admit as much as I loved watching my man cross that finish line, I was extremely delighted about enjoying an afternoon in the sun and going for a quiet drink.  Happy days!

What did you do at the weekend? Style: Sunshine Strolls xoxo
