I think I have made it known that my personal style has evolved quite a bit over the past year and a half. I always mention that I’m now drawn to basics that can be worn with almost any other item of clothing in your closet. What I love about these pieces is that they make your outfit look effortlessly chic, and what’s even better is their versatility. We all love that top/pair of trousers that can transform our outfit from casual to glam at the snap of a finger. I’ve been wanting to write a series of posts centred around a particular part of an outfit, and I thought why not start with the grey tee? Such a versatile piece.
For this series, I had my very good friend Louis take me photos during a recent road trip to Magadi. This outfit was literally my OOTD that day, just to show you that the grey tee does very casual: tee + jeans + leather jacket + flats kinda casual.

By the way, this was literally the hottest day in Magadi. At about 30°C throughout the day, I decided against wearing any makeup for this shoot to prevent looking like a wax model subjected to direct heat.
