I've worn it to work TWICE already. The vivid colors and floral design make me feel happy and beautiful. I want to sing the West Side Story 'I feel pretty' song! And getting it for less than $25... icing on the cake. I'm pretty sure every gal needs a pretty floral dress her wardrobe.
My prescription for a great floral dress:
- Look for colors that attract you. Think of yourself as a bee looking for the perfect flower! Will the colors go with other items i.e. cardigans, blazers, heels?
- Try on different floral designs, whether it's large or small print, monochromatic or multicolor.
- Consider the shape and material of the dress. This is a strapless silk dress, but I can make it casual with a cardigan and flats or wear it to a dressier event with bare shoulders and heels. Would you wear it for more than one occasion?
- Lastly, are you comfortable with the price? Remember, cost-per-wear.
