Student Protests in Mashah After a Student Was Raped

On Friday night, one girl student has been beaten and raped by unknown people in the university of Mashhad. Later on, she was brought to a hospital, writes daneshjoonews.
On Sunday, about 400 students gathered together to protest about what happened. The number of protesters increased to about 2000. The protest went on till 4:00 am on Monday.
Students chanted slogans such as "Ashuri; Resignation; Resignation" (Ashuri is the chief of university of Mashahd); "my unknown sister, I will take back you right", "a student dies, but he/she doesn't accept any humiliation" and "university security, shame on you, shame on you. Rape, crime, shame on this university security".
Still, no authority answered the questions of the students.
