Happy summer everybody! Finally Noemi and I have finished our final exams which means we now have lots of time for blogging. Summer has now also come to Austria, so tons of stawberries are growing in our garden and I am figuring out how to process them. This week I will post a couple of recipes using strawberries and this is one… a heavenly refreshing watermelon and strawberry lemonade, which is very easy to make. You only need a few ingredients, sparkly water and a blender…and nothing would get in your way to have a summerly refreshing afternoon drink…
You will need
- 500g watermelon
- 250g strawberries
- juice from 2 lemons
- ice cubes
- sparkly water
Dice watermelon, remove strawberry leaves and combine both fruit in a blender. Add lemon juice and blend until smooth. Pour one fourth of the lemonade in a glass and dilute with sparkling water and ice cubes.
