Rupert Friend was picked up for the film as a replacement for Paul Walker, who was cast for the main role. After two years in the making, Hitman: Agent 47 will hit theaters on February 27, 2015, starring Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann, Dan Bakkedahl and Ciaran Hinds.
Talking about the movie at its SDCC panel, Zachary Quinto, who plays the role of John Smith, said that this film will live up to fan-expectations with improved visual effects and special effects. “There’s a scale to this movie and a dynamic to it, there’s a sleekness to it, that I think separates it a little bit form that previous film.”

From the looks of these stills, Friend looks pretty good as our favorite bald assassin. With Quinto playing the role of the villain, I’d say we have a great reboot coming up ahead.
