Look of the Day – Today’s outfit best explains the saying that a pair of shoes can make or break an outfit! Whether I chose shoes or heels, the result is kind of different.
Basic v-neck tee, MeUndies. Denim shorts, Cotton On. Dainty necklace, LiBebi. Heels, Zara. Sunglasses, Mossimo at ZaloraPH. Leather watch, Daniel Wellington.
I don’t know if I am unconsciously aging fast or getting lazier by the minute but I find myself drawn to basic clothing more and more. For once I can admittedly say that I have had enough with the trendy outfits. Heck, I didn’t even realize that I was on a shopping ban. It only dawned on me when found out that I don’t have any pre-loved stuff to sell for the next few weeks’ scheduled bazaars (which I will be participating?). Refusing to buy clothes, I prefer splurging on lippies instead. They’re my new craze although it’s a bit late to join the Oh-yes-I’m-a-makeup-junkie shenanigans.
Kidding aside, this mayhem called blog life has endowed me with perks to which I am thankful for. After all, it’s not everyday that you get sent such novelties for outfit feature or product review, right? The goodies I got can go as random as you can imagine and I find it amusing yet rewarding at the same time. Is that even possible? To cut through the chase, the point I’m trying to get across is that consistency coupled with passion can potentially equate to success. With my whole idea of success being relative, I am in a state where I can say I am okay with where I am. The key is enjoying the moment. How? Stop comparing yourself to others and keep in mind that it’s okay to be a little bit self-centered sometimes. Haha!

It’s outfits like this that makes me think as to whether I can still pull the short shorts-stiletto pairing by the time I reach 30s. Irked by the silly thought, I had that sudden fuck that moment. I ditched the predictable choice of sneakers and went complete 180 with the rather odd pick of sky-high heels!
