Lately, I have been wearing a lot of black. I would blame this ‘all black’ obsession with the time of year and the fact that it is the easiest combination to look put together. In order to mix up these all black ensembles and add an extra pop I have been adding different statement earrings.

There is no trick to wearing a statement earring. When wearing something simple, I love to add a statement earring to really complete the outfit and make it standout (black can blend easily). Although there really isn’t a trick to picking a perfect statement earring for your outfit, I will say the one and only ‘no-no’ when wearing a statement earring is making sure that you only have the earrings (no necklace..too much going on).

The next time you are putting on your go to look, try and add a statement earring…not only will it dress up the look but you’ll start turning heads.
