Stanley created the Mountain Vacuum Food System to try and solve that very space issue by combining various items into one handy container. The vacuum insulated jar keeps food hot for 13 hours or cold for 11 hours so if you have a big trek in front of you, you are guaranteed for something nice at the end. The integrated pot cooks a jar's worth of food and when not busy cooking, it nests the vacuum to save space. It is made from stainless steel so it won't rust and it is naturally BPA free. It is leak proof and as a bonus they throw in an integrated spork.
