The St. Meinrad Sesquicentennial was the perfect summer event! Apparently Summer was a popular time for the founding of a town–I’ve been to quite a few of these birthday celebrations. You can consider it a guaranteed good time!

For such a small Indiana town, they sure know how to put on a show! Free bounce houses for the kids, fair food (most by local organizations and groups), and events made this a fantastic afternoon.

Sure, there was that brief thunderstorm and drenching downpour, but it cleared up quickly–leaving behind a rainbow. little Indiana and family had a great time at St. Meinrad, Indiana and their big birthday bash!
