Squeaky Clean Bathroom Tips

Bathroom is probably the most visited place in every home. Not a single day passes without you going there at least a couple of times and this means that you will have to find a way to keep it squeaky clean and do not allow any mould or germs to take over. The more effective your cleaning technique is, the easier it will be for you to win the war with spoils. It is absolutely understandable for you not to be especially fond of bathroom cleaning, but its necessity cannot be denied.

If you take advantage of these simple instructions, you will be able to complete the bathroom cleaning task promptly and with few efforts.

  • Tile grout - grout's porous structure is a perfect harbour for bacteria build-ups, so you should make regular inspections of your bathroom for any holes and crevices. In case germs and moisture manage to penetrate the wall, you will probably have to deal with very unpleasant problems. Tile grouts are easy to get tainted and spoiled, but if you start cleaning them with bleach, the floor and the walls in your bathroom will be looking flawless all the time. When it comes to fighting bacteria, a good idea is to scrub the stained areas with a brush and apply the bleach after that.
  • Shower - soap foam stains and hard water spots are surely the two most common problems you have to take care of in the shower area. Your best ally in such a situation is a highly effective and inexpensive cleaning product that you can make by yourself. Prepare a solution of one part white vinegar and one part of warm water, put it in a spray bottle and apply it on the walls and floor. Leave the solution for a while and then start cleaning. You can also use this mixture to get rid of any spoils on the shower itself. Vinegar dissolves any dirt and residue and is a perfect option to make your bathroom squeaky clean!
  • Sink - Even your bathroom sink can be maintained clean and shiny with the help of the same water-vinegar solution. The only disadvantage of this affordable and powerful cleaner is the smell that lingers afterwards, but commercial cleaners smell too, so that should not be a big problem for you. Just make sure you ventilate the bathroom properly after cleaning with the mixture.
  • Ceiling and tiles - The multipurpose water-vinegar has proven to deliver excellent results in this case too. Do not spend money on commercial cleaners which may even not work. Your ceiling will become absolutely taintless if you spray it with the solution and then leave hot water running enough time for the steam to build on. No spoils can endure this cleaning technique - there is no doubt about that.

Spare yourself the many efforts and money you will probably spend on bathroom sanitising and discover the green, easy and inexpensive way for you to make this place immaculate.
